Gion Koyuan Built over 100-years ago during the Taisho era, Gion Koyuan offers a 2-storey Japanese-style Machiya Townhouse with a traditional private garden, a kitchen and a living room area. The townhouse is located in the Gion district and is a 5-minute walk from Yasaka Shrine. Gion Shijo Subway Station is a 10-minute walk away and free wired internet access is available.The townhouse comes with a bedroom with tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. Guests can make their own meals in the kitchen, which comes with a fridge, microwave and electric kettle. Kitchenware is provided and laptop rentals, a flat-screen TV and ironing facilities are available as well. Toothbrush sets and a bathtub are provided in the en suite bathroom.
